Effective 5 Oct 2026
These terms cover using LimitKeep. Creating an account means you agree to them.
LimitKeep is a personal tool for tracking credit card utilization from numbers you enter yourself or statements you upload. It calculates percentages, flags thresholds, suggests pay-down amounts, and — through its planning tools, Simulation mode, and payoff calculator — shows projections, all based purely on that input.
LimitKeep is not a bank, lender, payment processor, or credit-reporting agency. It does not connect to your real accounts, move money, report to credit bureaus, or affect your credit score in any way. Nothing in the app — including pay-down suggestions, planning tools, and projections — or on our blog is financial, legal, or tax advice; it's arithmetic on the numbers you gave it, and general information.
Projections are estimates. The payoff calculator assumes no new charges and, if you've turned on interest tracking, uses the APR you entered (0% for a card without one). Interest is estimated from your own history, so real balances, interest, and payoff dates will differ. Statement upload uses an AI service to read your statement; it can misread or miss things, which is why you review the results before anything is saved. You're responsible for checking the numbers you save.
LimitKeep offers a free plan and paid Lite and Pro subscriptions, billed monthly or annually through Stripe, our payment processor. Current pricing, and which features each plan includes, are shown on our pricing page and at checkout. Some Pro features, like Simulation mode and statement upload, also need Advanced mode, which Pro subscribers can turn on or off in Settings.
Use LimitKeep for its intended purpose: tracking your own cards. Only upload statements for accounts that are yours, or that you're authorized to manage. Don't try to access another user's data, probe or disrupt the service, scrape it at scale, or resell access to it.
The card names, balances, statements, and other entries you add are yours. You're only granting LimitKeep the right to store and process them — including having our service providers process them on our behalf, such as our AI provider reading a statement you upload — for the sole purpose of running the service for you, nothing more. Our Privacy Policy covers exactly who those providers are.
LimitKeep is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Features may change, and the service may go down or be discontinued, without a guaranteed notice period.
LimitKeep is offered with no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or accuracy of any calculation, projection, or statement reading shown. To the maximum extent the law allows, LimitKeep and its operator aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months.
You can stop using LimitKeep and delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. Deleting stops your subscription from renewing (on the same terms as cancelling: no refund for the current period) and permanently deletes your account after a 30-day recovery window. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put the service at risk.
We'll update the effective date above when these terms change. Continuing to use LimitKeep after a change means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
